Fun stuff happening at The Tree...

An amazing artist came to The Tree yesterday and look what she did! She used the Amuse Summer Fun stamps and recreated them for our windows! All I can say is WOW. My favorite is the alligator and pirate chick. If you have time, swing by and check out Michelle's artistry!

Julia Aston was here this weekend and taught two fun classes. She also had a raffle for her second class. A sweet stamp set called "Spring Trees" from Cornish Heritage Farms. Julia is very talented and makes us all smile with her creativity each month. She takes the journey north each month, teaches us 2 totally awesome classes and inspires us to do more and more with our stamps. Her blog is amazing and so worth the visit each day. She works full time, is a wife and mom and still has stamping time! Although, I think she doesn't need nearly as much sleep as me. Amuse????

Their new Summer Release is here at The Tree and adorning our shelves and oh my gosh, this release is super fun and filled with all things summer. The gingham paper screams picnics, ice cream, sand and the ocean! Here are some sample cards.

So much has happened over the past week I don't even know where to begin excpet that I've GOT to share the picture of the class we had with Sally Lynn McDonald from Copic....WOW, we had a great time, learned tons and made a b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l album.

My first Blog Candy Winner!

Okay, I know it's been quite some time for my blogging time. The enties from here on out will be just "what's new" at The Tree. Nothing fancy, just ramblings of what's come into the store for the day. No pressure for me to get some fancy entry done just ramblings about the store. Deal? Deal!

So far this week, USPS brought Amuse with all colors of Copics they offer and a few stamps and note cards. The brown hotty in shorts brought Best Creations (transparencies) and May Arts ribbon, Maya Road and the new pink Bind It All.

The Whole Kit and Caboodle

Lauren Meader had her first classes this past weekend and they were just amazing! By the time the classes were over, many of her faithful followers begged and pleaded for kits. With gas prices as they are, driving all the way across country or down from Canada, might be expensive but the kits are well worth it!

To make it easier, we are now offering kits that some of our designers have created. The kits come with complete directions, all the "ingredients" and color photos. We are also offereing the kits complete with any special items such as punches, inks, stamps or tools of the trade that are used.
