Did I buy this color?

We all have "stuff". Some have more stuff than others and even some have so much stuff that they enter the shop with their head hung low and I hear, "I bought a duplicate." It happens! So...my friend Deb was here over the weekend and showed me her book of organization. This is what she does with her Stickles...

How cool is that? So...how about a class in making a book that will have pages for all your stash. Stickles, Smooch, Ink colors, Embossing colors, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders....EVERYTHING will have a home. Or at least, you will have a book that will include your tools so you will not buy duplicates or stand at the counter saying to me, "I wonder if I bought this color."

I've just added to the October Calendar:

"Classify...The only Book you'll ever need"
Wednesday, November 4th @6:30pm
Take time out to classify all your stash. A page for every tool that has multiples and room to grow! Stickles, Smooch, Ink colors, Embossing colors, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders....EVERYTHING will have a home. Or at least, you will have a book that will include your tools so you will not buy duplicates or stand at the counter saying to me, "I wonder if I bought this color." Please bring your class kit and Score-Tape. $28

Hope you'll join us and have a great day!

GREAT WEEKEND!

What a great weekend we had here at The Tree!

Friday night we had our Pink Ribbon Studio Event. What a great time we all had. Some had a bit more fun than others but let me tell you, what a great cause and it sure was fun meeting some new girls from the Derry area. The Tree was able to donate over $250 to The American Cancer Society. Here are a couple pictures of the fun we had...

The other exciting thing that happened this weekend was getting all the Copics in their new home. We now have our Copic Marker Refill Station! So...if you are in need of a refill, bring it in and I'll gladly fill it for you while you shop! We also have some of the sketch shades that can be easily made into a marker as well to expand your collection.

This is all for today. Hope you have an enjoyable day!

A New Look!

It's about time for a new look and a fresh something here so yesterday I made the decision to really take some time and work on this. How's it look? I had so much fun and could actually enjoy blogging now! I even taught myself how to layer stuff (no technical terms for me still) but it worked.

Anyway, as soon as I find my camera cord pictures will be added in the next day or so. Maybe I'll shock you and add them today even! :)

I sure hope you are enjoying your Labor Day weekend and that you find time to sit back, relax and enjoy family and friends.

I'm getting ready for the holiday lines to come pouring into the store in the next week or two. For now, there's a new addition to The Tree in the form of a display. Hope it works out the way I invision it!

This coming week to enter the doors of The Tree: restock of Halloween Amuse, Rosie's Roadshow, Stampscapes, Zutter, restock of Smooch, brand spanking new Outlines, new Cuttlebug folders and who knows what else. I know there are some I'm forgetting but you get the idea.

Again, enjoy your holiday and remember, The Tree will be closed on Sunday, September 6th and Monday, September 7th in observance of the Labor Day Celebrations.

Research...

I have been researching all my outstanding orders and the ones I can find info on today are:

Monday, Amuse Halloween will be delivered and yes, I'll be here smiling awaiting to open the box because I am just as excited as you! Here are a few cards from the designers that are doing sneak peaks.

Tuesday will be Tsukeniko & Spellbinders

Wednesday will be WhipperSnapper. These cards were designed by the amazingly, talented and far to creative Kristen.

Still outstanding...Copic, JustRite Stampers, Penny Black, Outlines, Rosie's Roadshow, Stampscapes. All these COULD come this week but today, I have no way of researching and tracking these companies.

Hope you have a great Monday and look out for a contest and some blog candy later this week!

Looky, Looky...I got an Award!

Looky, looky what my friend Kerry gave me!!!! She had to actually COME into the shop to tell me that she gave it to me back in the beginning of the month. I must have missed it on her blog because I'm too busy looking at all her sweet cards every day. She is one of the creative souls that keep me inspired. So Kerry, this Inspiring Blog Award is going right back to you. :)

We had a great time today with the Unity Playtime. These are the cards I created. It was great seeing what everyone designed and how they used the stamps to make such unique cards. I most definately had a great time with everyone and I'm looking forward to next month's playtime.

Hope that you are able to take time out this weekend and be creative!

Rosie and Amuse!

Yesterday, I got in a bunch of Rosie's Roadshow stamps and today it was all about Amuse.
I got many of the Rosies that everyone has asked for once again and a lot of new ones that haven't been on the shelves of The Tree yet. With Amuse there's a bunch of their Pretty Little Papers, restock of their cardstock and of course, stamps!
I heard through the grapevine that the new Amuse Halloween stamps are heading our way too. Yes, I saw them and are they awesome! 26 awesome stamps, new notecards, ribbon and Twinkle Stickers. To be shipped one day next week but I'll keep you posted!

Have a great weekend!

Man in Brown's Visit

So yesterday while getting ready for my class (which took just about ALL day), the man in brown paid me a visit with boxes, boxes and more boxes. I lost count after 6. Smooch, Glimmer Mist, Bazzill, Dream Street, Scor-Pal, Tsukeniko and Spellbinders. Oh, and a restock of Stickles. I was lucky enough to have a great friend helping me out for 4 hours. She is a doll...thanks, Kerry!

Tomorrow the man in brown will be visiting again with Rosie's Roadshow and Amuse. Fun week with new product and classes every night! Tonight is Stampscapes on Tiles, tomorrow is Pop This with Lisa, Friday is Back to School with Amuse and Jen D, Saturday is our Card Swap and Sunday is Rosie's Roadshow with my friend Kerry. I should be just about dead by Sunday. I'm thinking that chocolate might not be a bad idea at the end of this week. :)

Have a great day!

Forgot a couple things....

I'm thinking I might try to actual blog more often. Have you heard that from me before? Anyway, we'll see how it goes. If you are reading this entry, make a comment and you could have a chance for some special blog candy! :)

I did forget to mention a few things in my latest email and thought this might be a good place to put it.

Amuse is having their 8th Anniversary this week and they are offering a stamp set which is absolutely a must for any Amuse Addict! Spend $60 at The Tree in Amuse products and you get the set for FREE! This is a limited offer and only while supplies last.

I finally got in some CKC discount coupons. Stop in and grab them. I'm not sure how many they sent but there's a few on the counter. :)

This week I'm getting a HUGE order (160 pounds) of American Crafts paper, embellishments and ribbon. Their ribbon is one of my favs and perfect for so many papercrafting projects. I'm also getting a bunch of pearls, blings, Spellbinders and some other stuff too.

Okay.....I think that's all for now. Don't forget your comment for your chance at the candy!
